Relationships

The Relations tab is where you review and create links between tables. Strong relationships help AnalytAI answer multi-table questions with fewer mistakes.

The two relation modes

Manual

Use the Manual tab to pick two tables and create a relationship by connecting columns in the visual canvas.

Cosmic

Use the Cosmic tab to run AnalytAI’s built-in relationship detection, review the suggestions, and save the ones you want to keep.

Review or create relationships

1. Open a project from Projects.
2. Go to Relations.
3. Use Manual for direct control, or Cosmic to detect candidates.
4. Save approved relationships.

When to revisit relationships

Revisit this tab when:

• the AI struggles to connect tables in chat
• new tables were added to the project
• onboarding changed how the catalog should be grouped
