Automatic Description Generator
AnalytAI uses generated descriptions to turn raw tables and columns into something more understandable for users.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”When a source is first connected, the generator can:
- scan table names, columns, and types
- inspect limited samples to infer likely business meaning
- produce table and column descriptions
- enrich the catalog used during onboarding, review, and chat
Why it matters
Section titled “Why it matters”- Less manual setup: you do not need to describe every field by hand
- Better chat quality: clearer descriptions help users ask questions in business language
- Stronger catalog review: the published catalog is easier to inspect and trust
How to improve the result

When to revisit it
